Clinic

  • Exterior Appearance・Reception

We are located on Flower Road, on the 3rd floor of the Kobe Clinic Building. We hope patients appreciate the care and thought we’ve extended to create a relaxed atmosphere the moment one enters our reception area.

  • X-ray Room

At our clinic, we use a digital X-ray system. The taking of X-rays is commonplace in diagnosing dental concerns, and the use of digital machines allows for reduced exposure to radiation. Compared to the amount of radiation emitted from a traditional X-ray machine, exposure is essentially halved with a digital panoramic X-ray, and by 1/10th, with a digital bite-wing X-ray. Another benefit to using digital machines, is that once taken, the digitized images are quickly made available for chairside viewing on an LCD screen. The ability to enlarge digital images is also beneficial because it permits the display and zoomed-in viewing of the examined areas of the mouth.

  • Treatment Room

To protect a patient’s privacy, the room is laid out as a semi-private room so the patient can feel relaxed while undergoing treatment.

Equipment

  • CT(Computerized Tomography)

    CT (Computed Tomography)

This machine takes digital tomographic X-rays that allow us to view the state of teeth and bones in three dimensions.

  • Digital Microscope

    Digital Microscope

This machine is Digital Microscope with a magnifying power of 80 for Dentistry. This is combined with Digital Microscope and Intraoral camera which can take a movie and picture.

  • Operatory Light (Shadowless Operatory Dental Light)

Operatory Light (Shadowless Operatory Dental Light)

Used to illuminate the examination area around the hand, eliminating shadows and making it easy to see during implantations, periodontal surgery and wisdom tooth extractions.

  • Nitrous Oxide Sedation

    Nitrous Oxide Sedation

Upon inhalation, this form of sedation causes a calming effect and reduces one’s sense of fear. Other than being used for implantations, and tooth extractions, nitrous oxide can be used during regular treatment for those patients who experience anxiety.

  • Biomedical Monitor

    Biomedical Monitor

For some treatments we use a biomedical monitor that allows us to supervise a patient’s vital signs. We do this, of course, for those who undergo implantations, but also for patients with heart disease or those who experience extreme anxiety when at the dentist. If a patient wishes, an anesthesiologist can attend and take the whole body under management, so the operation can be conducted in a way that makes the patient most at ease.

  • Intraoral Camera

    Intraoral Camera

This camera can record areas of the mouth that are too small to see when using a traditional dental mirror, such as upper and rear teeth. It also allows patients to view the state of dental caries by viewing the camera’s output.

  • Digital System

    Digital System

The taking of X-rays is commonplace in diagnosing dental concerns, but by using a digital X-ray system, X-ray exposure is reduced by 1/10 compared to the amount of radiation emitted from a traditional X-ray machine. Once taken, the digitized images are quickly made available for chairside viewing on an LCD screen. It also allows for enlargement of digital images, permitting the display and zoomed-in viewing of examined areas of the mouth.

  • Digital Camera

    Digital Camera

Specialized for intraoral recording, this camera captures the state of a patient’s mouth so the current healing stage of any disease can be seen at a glance.

  • Magnifying Lenses

    Magnifying Lenses

These lenses allow for a more complete viewing of fine details within the mouth that are invisible to the naked eye. Because of these lenses, more precise treatment can be performed.

  • Slipper Disinfection Dispenser

    Slipper Disinfection Dispenser

With the slipper disinfection dispenser, each time a pair of slippers is used, they undergo a process of being exposed to ultraviolet light, evenly disinfecting the slippers and sterilizing them from the inside out.

  • External OralVacuum

    External OralVacuum

When working on the teeth, in order to avoid the airborne scattering of microscopic organic material, we use an external oral vacuum which catches these particles at their source.
